Dr. Chase has been doing research on diseases of ornamentals for 40 years. She started her career at the University of Florida in 1979 and switched to private practice in 1994. She and her husband, Mike Zemke, run Chase Ag Consulting in Arizona where they continue to trial products for disease control since 2012.

Dr. Chase will present a series of pictures of common and not so common problems on greenhouse crops. She will go over what the important clues are that can lead to the best chance of guessing right. A list of questions she asks when confronted with a diagnosis problem will be given. And the session will also include the best resources available to growers as well as key clues for common diseases. And finally, the last section as what to do when you are waiting for a diagnosis? This will include broad-spectrum control strategies to cover the bases.
